played 9th Sept 2016 course in good condition 2nd hole is a real killer but the rest of the fairways are all tree lined and separate from the other holes water comes into play on the opening nine to make things interesting.Overall its a good value challenging and enjoyable test of golf.BTW hole in one at the par 3 eight, my first ever. Score 96 handicap 24

This course is VERY well looked after! The fairways are wide open and the scenery is great. It's a flat course, but it can be challenging. It's usually quiet.

Great condition

Great course greens are in very good condition, its quite a long course for the average golfer and a true test of skill at 21 pound a real bargain.

Hidden gem
Decided to play this as I’d say it’s the least marketed course in my area. Was pleasantly surprised to only pay £10 for a twilight game in which I easily managed 18, even behind some slow play.The course provides a good challenge in different ways. Fairways are generally wide meaning driver is often an option but hazards are well placed and the rough around greens is also quite dense which makes an interesting and sometimes tougher chip shot.
The 2nd is one of the most unique holes I’ve ever played. 2 very accurate shots needed through the narrowest of tree lines.
The only improvement id offer is to cut the fairways shorter in places.

Society day
Rain rain and more rain but apart from the rain we had a good day the staff where very polite the course where very wet and I mean wet but the greens were in good condition to say what the weather was like(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 8.5)

Great course
This course is in wonderful condition,the greens and fairways are both excellent and are a credit to the ground staff after the winter we have had.The food as always is spot on served by friendly staff.Reviewer Rating
