Lots of work
Played course numerous times.lots of work being carried out. Gorse removal is a bit extreme, this gave course some character. Think it's now getting a bit tame.Reviewer Rating

Course was in good condition despite wet weather. Most hole presented a different challenge and the rough could be quite punishing

I've rated the course as poor, not because of the condition, it's well maintained, but because it's a pig of a course! If you don't bring your 'A' game you'll shoot high numbers and lose a bundle of balls. Not a place to try and get your handicap cut. Played four times this year because it's on the greenfeesavers, it's at Troon, so it's playable and in good condition most of the year, but I've never got close to playing to my handicap yet.
The clubhouse, food etc is excellent.
