Course quite good and greens in very good condition. Local rule strictly enforced requiring anyone playing in shorts to wear white socks!!!

Hagley Golf

Lovely looking course shame about some of the pompous members. ?40 for 9 holes seems over the top when there are better courses in the area that you can play 18 holes for less money.

Excellent driving range and pro facilities. Not a good winter course if it is wet! Great when dry.

Nice course - a game of 2 halves

I've played the course twice now and the 2nd half is excellent with the par 5 15th and 18th are exceptional holes. The pro's are really welcoming, I write my emails to Gareth who is very helpful. The £1 warm up basket in the range before is a really great idea. Also enjoyed the 2nd hole with the water very much in play from the tee shot, and how the 11th green is framed reminiscent of Formby with its pine trees. Totally agree the back nine (par 37 ) is more of a challenge than the front. Only played it in the winter (a few temp greens and many tee mats) so look forward to playing in summer when the (many) trees are in bloom, as there are some obvious pretty tree lined holes to behold. See you in the summer. £19 with a county card is good value.

Firm, fast and a great course.

Another first time course for myself. Fairways very firm which highlighted
any offline shots. Greens were good but there were some brown patchy areas but a lot of this would be down the recent dry spell.
Bunkers were good, some tees were so hard it was a struggle to
get a tee into but overall given the weather a top course.

Great weather, course in good condition with very good greens. Fairways could have done with a cut as there were a few patches of longer grass but didn't affect the round.
