Well kept fairways and good greens, second hole awkward as no view from the green or markers to aim at.

Tried to play this course 4 times before we actually got on it. The first 3 round were cancelled due to course being saturated, two of these occasions we were not told in advance so arrived to find it shut. When we did get out it was very boggy but playable. Greens were ok considering and well looked after.
fairways are very tight and surrounded by water ditches which ate 6 of my balls so course is really for straight hitters.
Would go again but only in middle of summer.

Have just played this course with my society and was pleasantly surprised with couse and its condition. The holes were tricky and required thought to score well as it is not one for the big hitters to just lose the driver all the time. The greens and fairways were all in excellent condition. I could see how it could become boggy in the winter due to the amount of water (not major hazards when playing) and the low lying land.

My only gripe for the day related to some of the difficultlies experienced in making the society booking and arrangements. We were being a bit awkward with varying numbers throughout the day which created a bit of confusion mainly due to their poor communition. There were very good at accommodating our requirements and allowing us to tailor our packages to suit everyone.

On a final note, the facilities and food were good. Would we go back? I would certainly consider it.

Winter tees, boggy fields - not good conditions for this course but saw enough to beleive it can be enjoyable in better weather. Greens good and true. Signposting could be greatly improved I spent some time wandering round looking for the winter tees!

A good course but holds the water well. greens and fairways with puddles and solid sand in bunkers. Good value for money and all round nice course.

A reasonable course but not the most picturesque. The ground tends to hold the water so can be boggy during the winter. Some of the members were among the least friendly i have come across although I expect these are the minority. I did feel they took the edge off an otherwise enjoyable round. Large driving range is a big plus and the Pro staff seem very nice.
