Way to much sand placed on the greens felt like getting my sand wedge not my putter very very poor

Tried to play this course 4 times before we actually got on it. The first 3 round were cancelled due to course being saturated, two of these occasions we were not told in advance so arrived to find it shut. When we did get out it was very boggy but playable. Greens were ok considering and well looked after.
fairways are very tight and surrounded by water ditches which ate 6 of my balls so course is really for straight hitters.
Would go again but only in middle of summer.

Played this week greens very poor course very poor needs a lot of work for the summer reported to the club pro but didn,t seem interested

Winter tees, boggy fields - not good conditions for this course but saw enough to beleive it can be enjoyable in better weather. Greens good and true. Signposting could be greatly improved I spent some time wandering round looking for the winter tees!

In places the layout is a bit tight, but this is a fun course in very good condition. Understand they took a greenkeeper from Newport and he certainly looks as though it was a good move for the club...the greens were in far better condition than the more celebrated course where I am a member.

Good course that appears well maintained and whilst not being the longest, is certainly challenging enough. Only criticisms would be that location of tees could be more clearly defined along with hole layout info being available. Clubhouse well presented, although drinks a little pricey, two pints of lemonade and orange £7.50

Greens require some work, still recovering from very wet winter, a few more dry weeks and the course should getting there.
