really good course, some excellent holes and really tight course. pro shop is good, driving range is good and modern... I would say the only thing that lets the course down slightly is, 2 holes imparticular 6&15 (short par 3s) as they are too similar and just seem to be put there to fit in due to space, with that said it wont stop me playing the course again. When you get the loyalty card a round is only £10 which is superb value.
like others have said, a course planner would come in a treat, so many water hazards and many concealed too, which can quickly turn a good round into a nightmare.
will play this course again and again over the years.

I've only really started to take up the game properly this year and with this being my closest course I've played it quite a lot this summer. The improvement from the start of the year is incredible! New Greenkeepers have made a massive difference and the bunkers/greens/fairway and rough are now much better looked after. A fair test of skill

Played this course 4 times in the last couple of weeks. Also bought a membership card for £10 which means £10 a round now every time(great value). A tight course that needs plenty of thought. Shot 96 after being on 82 after 16. So it tells a tale.

Pleasantly surprised. This course has come on a lot since I played a few years ago. It's quite tight and tricky in places, not a bad little test.

Interesting course. Its very short, but tight with plenty of naughtily placed greens and water hazards. The greens are also very small and quick and the majority slope of into hazards.

One huge flaw for this course is the lack of course info / planner. There are water hazards in spots that you cant even see from where you tee off. They really need to sort this so its a fair test!

Overall though great challenge, good value for money and enjoyable round

not played for a few weeks but its great to be back at my home ground. the course is playing very well, greens were very receptive and running well.
get down and play it soon or your going to miss out on what has to be one of the best course's in the area...
just remember its a park / links type off course. so thinking about your next shot is the best way around....
Warm up on the driving range before your round and have a drink after.

Played the course maybe 10 times this summer. Reviewers here are mainly spot on. Greens very good for the price (which is brilliant at £10) but can be hard to keep the ball on as quite firm. Fairways need attention as very bare in many places, and yes there are divot issues, please REPLACE your divots. Biggest issue is the bunkers. How hard can it be to replenish the sand on a regular basis and trim the edges?! The course really does need a planner as I am still hitting over mounds straight into ponds that I had forgotten about .. after 10 rounds!!! The 19th hole is small but clean and functional with a good choice of food and drink, indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, a very good and continually improving course that is amazing value for money.

Have seen this course develop over the last 3 years, it's amazing how far it has come in a short space of time. Loyalty card is a great idea and I defy anyone to get a better round of golf for £10 (with card) anywhere in the country.

the fairways were a bit bald, could do with a course planner as there is a lot of hidden water in driving range but overall very good day of golf

Stumbled across this course on direct tee times and never heard of it or known of anyone who had played it but thought I'd try it out and once I was told about the offer of the loyalty card (£10 per round after 1st round) I must admit I was a little sceptic of the quality of the course but I can honestly say we were knocked off our feet with the value for money.
This is a great golf course, although on the short side of yardage it makes up for it with its crafty placing of water and bunkers and also great greens.
We all love teeing the ball up and letting it rip down the fairway with driver but this is a great challenge with course management key.
Highly recommended and definitely going to take advantage of the loyalty offer.
My only criticism is the bunkers could do with adding sand but I think most courses have/are suffering with the same problem with the amount of rain we've had the last month or so.

Oh and an excellent pro shop with plenty of stock which is a dying thing with golf courses.

poor round by myself, going to have to hit the range and sort out some bits....
the course is in good condition, the greens are running great and the bunkers were in good order. only problem would be that there is still some golfers who keep on leaving their divots and don't replace them.
it not only frustrates the Green keepers but fellow golfers...

SO NOT TO ALL PLEASE, PLEASE if you take a divot when playing your shot,,, JUST TAKE 20 seconds and REPLACE IT!!!!!!

thank you

Course and greens in good condition for this time of year and no winter tees or greens in play.
Quite challenging, driving straight is a big bonus here
