Little beauty

Vastly improved course. Pga rated greens. I had to think my way round water on most holes. Looks like they put a lot of hard work into the course. Pro shop excellent. Really friendly staff and a great onsite restaurant.

quite easily the worst course i have ever played. terrible, shocking greens. bad and patchy fairways. badly signposted. cannot understand how this course is 4 out of 5 stars. it is considerably worse than mersey vally nearby, and mersey valley aint too great... Do. Not. Play. Here. You have been warned

based on some of the past reviews I can only imagine how bad this course must have been if it is now improving. the greens are hard - rock hard, like concrete - and even though sprinklers exist they cannot be being used. All 18 greens were more resembling of a cricket wicket: brown, grass dead, and cracks in hard soil. Half of the greens had multiple rabbit holes in them. The fairways were patchy but decent enough, as were the tee areas. Aside from this there are some good holes, short par 4s, challenging dog-legs, lots of water, etc but the course is cramped, holes very close together and i\'d imagine when busy it could get dangerous. The course allows people to play in jeans, trainers and t-shirt, or at least we saw a few groups like this. I would play here again as it is a challenge and has decent holes but their recent increase in prices must be spent on improving the greens

Love this course plays well all year round but when the weather turns it can get boggy which is only expected on a relatively new course however the greens play well whatever the fairways do

I played this course around 2 years ago and it was a reasonable course in fairly good condition with some nice holes, i fancied a quick 18 holes at the weekend so decided to go to Fiddlers Ferry to see how the course was these days.

I wish i hadn't of bothered, they have really let this place go. From overgrown fairways to really poor greens, do they not have a maintenance team anymore ?

Maybe they've given up on the course and are just concentrating on the driving range and the shop of which both are very good, it's a shame you can't say the same thing about the golf course. Can't say i'll be going back anytime soon.
