cheap and cheerful
fairways are good running good due to the nice weather but the greens need work, the course would be great if it had money to upgrade the greens, but with the current difficult financial times the club wouldn't be able to afford doing it.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 9.8)

Busy full of non golfers
Busy. Full of non golfers who don't understand basic golfing rules. No course Marshall hurrying slow play which was clear. Greens were shocking, tee boxes dust, terrible conditionsReviewer Rating

Played on a foggy Sunday morning, general pace of play good. Layout is interesting on most holes, especially front 9. Some good greens protected by hills/ mounds. Course majorly let down by condition, greens not good at all, fairways okay-ish, tee boxes poor. £20 is probably the max they can expect people to pay at any time..

Could be better
Has the potential to be a really good course, the layout is good with some challenging aspects to it but it is clearly run on the cheap and is not very well kept. The fairways are like the 1st/2nd cut of rough. One of our 4ball hit a pin straight drive down the fairway and lost his ball in the centre of the fairway due to the poor condition. There are also no catering facilities on site so no food/drink available after a round yet the clubhouse is huge with more than enough space to provide. Fix the issues and you have a great club/course.Reviewer Rating

The fairways weren't mowed the greens were like carpets had to really hit the ball. Lots of hidden shots so if the fairways and rough are high good luck trying to find your ball. bonus was price could get our early for ?20 a playerReviewer Rating
