Los Lagos - Quite a flat course, but interesting holes nevertheless. Only the bunkers let the course down.Reviewer Rating

Avoid Mijas Los Olivos
I like in Mijas and play Mijas Golf regularly however Los Olivos is in the worst condition I have EVER seen on any golf course anywhere in the world. There was literally NO grass on at least 4 of the greens and most of the others were unplayable also.
The bunkers were deep with mud and full of water and only the white tees were in use due to damage.

Fairways are quite bare, little grass so difficult to get club under ball especially for wedge shots. Bunkers are very poor, very little sand , lots of small stones.

Played list Lagos which in my opinion is the better of the two courses. A lot of money gas been spent on improving the course in the past few years and it was in the best condition I have seen it. Greens were quick and very true and course suits long hitters with wide fairways and some long par 4's that require carrying water. That being said it is on the expensive side and 3.50€ for 30 balls on the driving range is taking the mick. The club house has been refurbished and serves a great club sandwich and a cold San Miguel which was just what is needed after a round in the sun.

OLivios
Not a bad course, but not a stand out course either. Lots of bunkers, some water, and tree line fairways. Some design features used over and over , such as shots to raised greens.Reviewer Rating

Nice, forgiving interesting layout - shame about the greens
This is the second time I have played Los Olivos. The course layout is great, interesting and challenging holes but plenty of room off the tee. The issue both times has been the consistency of the sand in the bunkers, which is very varied, and the quality of the greens, which has been downright poor both times. This round was played during peak, peak season and we were one of the first groups out on a Saturday. Given how much we were paying, and given the greens on the second course at Mijas are great, I can't understand why the greens were so poor. Apart from that, a good course.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 3.2)

Good course, investments making better but no water in many of the lak
The course was a good test of golf and the investment into the course, particularly in the back 9 was clearly visible. In a few years it will be a really attractive course. The only disappointment was that many of the lakes had no water in them. This didn\'t really affect the challenge of the course but definitely did the attractivenessReviewer Rating
