Physically and mentally challenging but a great course nonetheless
This was the 3rd time I had played La Cala America and it certainly helped to know the course better this time around. The course, despite all the play it gets, is in great condition, with nice sand in the bunkers, immaculate tees and fairways and quick, true greens. The America course is the most playable of the 3 at La Cala but you still need to be on your game with narrow fairways in places, few bail-out areas and lots of steep run offs around the greens. Make sure you don't play off the back tees unless you are a single figure handicapper. La Cala is certainly the premier resort to play in the area (closely followed by the more playable Mijas courses).(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 3.8)

brilliant

Lovely golf with stunning views
An absolute lovely golf course with the most breathtaking views. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition but it?s up there with one of the most difficult tracks to play. A real test for the handicapper golfer but a great experience.

Great course with views to match

Great Spanish retreat
6 years straight coming here and it?s not getting old . 3 challenging courses in the sun is all you want .

Day 2 Gregs Bash
On Europa as Asia was closed and I actually enjoyed the course more than previous years the greens were a bit slow in parts(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.3)

(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 106 Handicap: 24)

Marvellous course

Lovely La Cala
All three courses at La Cala are always a challenge but a joy to play nonetheless. Great views of the Mediterranean if you're having an off day!(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 26)

Amazing venue
Fantastic venue , staff and challenging courses . My 6th year of visiting and will be going in 2019

May holiday round 1
weeks holiday with my wife and played the Asia for the first course of the trip...I really do play well on this course so really enjoyed the score on the back 9(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.5)

Worth the trip
3 very different golf courses in sunny Spain, condition is OK but could be improved. Great resort to stay.

Golf in the Sun
Lovely round of golf after an early start from the UK. Course in good condition. Great facilities.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.8)

Holiday trip
Well worth playing all 3 courses, though Asia would be our favourite, then Europe.

Stunning course
Found this course very difficult being a newbie, probably not a high handicappers course as there are some very long drives to be made. The contours make it especially hard... but immensely enjoyable. Can’t wait to improve my game and return again.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 115 Handicap: 28.7)

A spanish treat
A lovely venue with a tricky course to tackle for all abilities. Great shop, clubhouse and facilities. Worthy of a visit. Most enjoyable to play.

Tough
Very tight course, must hit the ball straight and the greens are quite good(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 101 Handicap: )
