October Golf

Mixed bag
Fair priceSome of the greens are not as good as they should be at this time of the year.
Quite a few holes with blind shots so you have to play short or risk not seeing your ball land.

Very wet at this time of year

In good nick considering the winter
The only thing I always find with Cookridge is the rough just off the fairways is pretty much wild, so if you stray it's almost always a lost ball, there's not much if any fading of the rough. Today it was playing very true and in good shape, with lots of run and carry.Reviewer Rating

Cookridge Hall review
First time here and was impressed from the start. It has all you expect from a premium venue ( practice facilities, range etc) and the staff are very friendly and informative. The course itself is superb. It is well kept with some really testing holes. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new course to try. We got to play there thanks to a hot deal we got for just 17.99....thats a bargain believe me.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course
Excellent course with some interesting holes. Hole 6 and 9 are really great especially. We played for £20 which was really excellent value for. the quality of the course.. Its long of the whites but my partner and I found it relatively forgiving off the tee. Stayed behind for soup and a soft drink in the spike bar which was excellent.Reviewer Rating

In fantastic condition
The greens staff have done an amazing job during lockdown and the course is in great condition. Like everywhere it could now do with some rain before the fairways dry too much.
