Gem of a course. Not overly long but very varied. A course all golfers would love. Course in great condition, greens were superb, extremely quick but true. Quite a hilly course, especially the walk from the 17th green to the 18th tee. One of the best courses around the area, would recommend it highly.

My Home Club, improved hugely from a few years back, greens are good and the course is in great condition. Some excellent signature holes and provides a test for everyone

A nice mix of holes, raised green protected by trees so the player is forced to play for position and a collection of short par 3's over water. Only let down was the uneven greens on the back 9. I thought the course would be considerably more boring based on the reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed and will play it again this weekend.

Fantastic course - still very heavy underfoot after this week's rain, but the greens were great. Clubhouse facilities are first rate and the food was great.

I run a golf society in Bristol and we recently went to The Bristol. I don't usually write reviews but I have to say that we were so overwhelmed with the whole experience. The drive in was so stunning and the staff were brilliant. The Head pro bent over backwards to look after us and even brought us a beer on the 10th Tee (WOW!) the course in really good and greens were excellent. The meal after was probable the best we have had in a long time. We heard that they have made a lot of changes in staff and operations in 2015 and what a difference it has made. Go there you wont be disappointed.

Nice little course with stunning views on a clear day over the Severn. Some tricky holes with some great course hazards. Fairways and greens are really well kept and it plays well in all weather. Watch out for the walk from the 17th to 18th its a steep one. Overall a decent course and you can put a very goos score together if you keep it simple. I find the clubhouse a little boring with no atmosphere but it serves a cold beer and decent food.

We have just played The Bristol and were so impressed with the whole experience we received. We were told that they never use temporary greens in the winter so we wanted to try them. They were brilliant and the course was great. The boys in the shop were really welcoming and the food we had after in the bar was really good. We are definitely going back!
