The club house seemed to have a lot more activity and the staff was very helpful. The only downside was that the drink was or seemed expensive

Excellent condition
The only criticism i had about the course was that it seemed to have too many people on the course that did not know how to conduct themselves and dress code was not good. Lots of society groups out and this may of been the reason. The marshal was very good and was checking up on everyone but it did seem to be very slow. I would not recommend this club as this seemed to be a fault on the day. We completed the course in 4.5hrs but the other groups before us i was told completed the course in 5.5hrs, which is not good. The club was quiet and did not have any atmosphere, and the bar staff looked like they wanted to go home and lock up . Not good really and this does need to be addressed. we teed off at 1400hrs and just got back in time before it got dark. Some building work was being done on the back three holes but this in fairness never effected our game. We are all members of other clubs around the Bristol area and we all felt that these issues should be addressed. One final point the showers we also used, and they were in fact cold.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 104 Handicap: 24.5)

Good value
Twilight rates at £13 cannot go wrong here. I wouldn't pay full price to play here but these twilight rates are excellent when other courses in the area are trying to charge too much cough (Thornbury).Really nice course fairly busy as you would imagine.
Green were really quick considering the recent rain and they caught me out multiple times.

Finding the 17th tee was a bit of an effort as it is quite a distance from the 16th green and there is no signage. Not sure of the wisdom of sticking a dirty great fountain in front of the 18th green which obliterates the pin position. The round cost £20 which felt about right. Happy to have played the course but wouldn't rush back
