Lovely course in Kent. Clubhouse isnt up to much but the course makes up for this. Great heathland course with plenty for everyone. Great greens, well kept and true for putting

A course with two distinct characters: the devil and an angel.
Many fairways are far too narrow for the average golfer and simply add time to a round, slow the course and dishearten as balls disappear. Clearly the holes at the back on the first 9 need many trees removed and fairways widened. Too many holes have slopes close to the safe play that punish heavily and unnecessarily.
Other holes are a joy to play, wider fairways, wide first cuts and with reward for risk but not too punishing if things go off the fairway.
The first and tenth fairways have a strange appearance as if they have been mowed in two different directions to give the impression of one thin offset fairway; why???
Too busy on a Friday afternoon, so avoid.
Greens are all excellent and seem consistent with each other.
Expensive for what it offers. £40 for something that should be £25.

Absolutely the best course in the area for miles, not a lump or bump on any of the greens, soft sand in the bunkers...it's all fab.
PLUS.. all the staff and members made us feel at home from the offset.
In fact it's that good I've joined the club !!

Beautiful course, very tight fairways and in lovely condition. Would definitely recommend to everyone but beginners!

Ours was a groupon deal so much cheaper than the usual green fee. Very pleasant, up and down course. All parts of the course in good condition and staff were very pleasing. Would look forward to playing again, though not at the normal rate.

Played this course late afrternoon as part of a 4 for £100 offer. Course was in great condition and members that we encountered were all really friendly- Pro shop was closed as "he was out and about" and it would have been nice to be able to buy a course planner (there was a ery basic one on back of scorecard).
Great great course which you certainly had to think your way around and one that would be better the second time around as we would have more of an idea of which clubs to play off the tee. Lots of good challenges and hard to find fault really.
Would not hesitate to reccomend.
