Many fairways are far too narrow for the average golfer and simply add time to a round, slow the course and dishearten as balls disappear. Clearly the holes at the back on the first 9 need many trees removed and fairways widened. Too many holes have slopes close to the safe play that punish heavily and unnecessarily.
Other holes are a joy to play, wider fairways, wide first cuts and with reward for risk but not too punishing if things go off the fairway.
The first and tenth fairways have a strange appearance as if they have been mowed in two different directions to give the impression of one thin offset fairway; why???
Too busy on a Friday afternoon, so avoid.
Greens are all excellent and seem consistent with each other.
Expensive for what it offers. £40 for something that should be £25.

Nice course - worth visiting
Well maintained and well laid out course. Some tricky tight fairways and hidden dangers await visiting players. If you don't seeball land take a provisional! Greens in good condition, qhite fast and tricky to read.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful Kent Course
You need to be fairly straight or tress or step drops await you. That said the course was in beautiful condition.(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 90 Handicap: 17.5)

Lovely course
This is a lovely course set in the middle of Kent, among the downs so it is a touch hilly! The condition was terrific: the greens smooth and rolling; the best bunkers we have seen all year; and a good definition between fairway, rough and second cut. The welcome from the Pro Shop and Bar staff was warm and open - good customer service. The downside - the club members. This is an 18 hole course where the 1st and 10th run alongside each other but for some unfathomable reason they insist on having time boards so that people are teeing off both and you have to dovetail. Very problematic and not conducive to a speedy round. I have heard of 6 hour rounds at the weekend!(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 13.1)

Nice course, well maintained
First time I've visited this course, fantastic condition and very friendly staff.Course itself was tough for a high handicapper, and a course planner or map on the tee would have been very helpful
