Hidden Gem
Great little traditional Surrey course .Friendly welcome in Pro shop and Clubhouse .

Course in excellent condition with greens to make you think about every put. Not long (sub 6,000 yards) but well defended and very beautiful.

Dry fast running fairways, quick undulating greens and devilishy placed pin positions (at least on Saturday) made for a surprisingly challening round. This is a consistently attractive course from hole to hole with very few weak points and well worth its top 40 rating in the Top 100 Golf Course. Stand out holes for me are the Par 4 6th (Si 1) with its raised tea box and hidden from view water hazard, the Par 4 10th with its steeply sloping approach, the Par 5 14th with its approach to within yards of the terrace, the beautifully framed par 3 16th with its lake. I was luckly enough to play in almost perfect weather and with a new member so was great value for money. Lovely old skool feel to the place and probably a great club of which to be a member. Just wish I lived closer.

Superb course. Lovely clubhouse, nice atmosphere, and well worth spending the day and playing two rounds. Course is short, but testing and fair. Not a bad hole on it, if you can walk away from a round and remember every hole, it's a good sign and you can here.

Excellent course, some nice holes my favourite being the 14th with a green perched in front of the clubhouse patio. 18th is a nice finishing hole. The course was in good condition, nice greens but maybe could be tidied up between the tee boxes and the fairway. Clubhouse is fantastic, one of the most traditional I have seen and you can taste the history of the club, first class welcome and service

I thought this course was great. A real test of my game especially after 3 holes I was still at level par. lots of interesting holes on an established course. Unable to give an opinion of the clubhouse as it was shut when my round was completed. Challenging holes if a little off targety as there is plenty of heather to loose your ball in just off the fairways. I would be willing to play again if the opportunity arrives.
