Lovely Course
Short course but reallly well kept. the greens are rapid. Well done to Pete Clarke and the greenkeepers(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 14.4)

Beautiful parkland course
Starts with 3 par three but don't let that put you off unless you can par all 3. This is my favourite course with a signature 12th hole which calls for accuracy. There is water, ditches, bunkers, and out of bounds that make you plan and think and that's true for the whole course. Either way it's a fun course which comes highly recommended and will be ideal for individuals or a society outing. There is a brilliant hotel and restaurant attached. Played here lots of times. Course is short but the greens can be tricky. Nice course for a quick round.

On this occasion, we found the tees to be extremely untidy and the greens did not play very well. Having said it is still a beautiful course to play, and the wind helped to make it a great challenge.

worth trying these greens on a Sculptured Parkland Course
An excellent golf course to suit all standards of golfers. Friendly and welcoming. Very lush and well cared for with fairways, lakes, ditches, trees, out of bounds, rough and bunkers to test your course management and judgement. Great for a weekend group as you will get special rates at this hotel based course so top quality food,swimming pool,sauna and pampering is there if want that. Within a taxi ride of the city centre so what are you waiting for.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 17.4)

Beautiful course, kept well. Although quite a bit of GUR, showing that drainage is still a bit of a problem. Greens seem slower than they used to be.

Well worth a visit
I have played at the windmill many times and it is excellent value for money. Its is a nice little course which is always very well maintained. This course is very good as a practice round for working on all aspects of your game. It is a relatively short course but challenging all the same with a lot of water hazards and narrow tree lines to avoid.Reviewer Rating

Probably one of the shortest 18 hole courses I have ever played. Started off with 2 par 3s and a 250 yard par 4. The course was in good condition although no real stand out holes.

A brilliant golf club for all levels of players.
This is a brilliant parkland course which offers a nice test of golf, the greens are the best in the area without doubt. The course/fairways are well maintained and the course has nice balance of lakes, ditches, out of bounds areas, trees and rough.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.8)
