A course without bunkers on a single hole and well placed water hazards on eight holes. Tight fairways with out of bounds in play make choice of club vital on several holes. Every hole presents a different challenge. Superb views of the surrounding fells add to the experience. My favourite course in Cumbria.

Lovely course, maybe a short course but very testing. One I would definitely play again, even with the snakes on the course.

It is a short course but a thinking course and the club choice is very important, Requires straight and accuracy. Views are spectacular and the balcony afterwards for a nice cool shandy just finished it off superbly.

Great course!Was in excellent condition for the time of year, weather was perfect for early morning tee off.Each hole had its own signature features with a links like feel.Some short holes with blind shots but this added to the superb features of the course!The views from the 8th tee were amazing for any course.Totally recommended and would play again,best in the area by far!!

What a great course. The first hole is a little bit intimidating for a short driver like me but really enjoyable and the quality is maintained on every hole. You really have to think your way around this beautifully maintained course. The professional and members were all very chatty and helpful.

I have taken advantage of the Groupon golf deal now on three occasions and everyone of them have been fantastic value for money, Simon Edwards (Pro) is the best golf tutor I have ever had. The course is very challenging but always in fantastic condition, well worth a round. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
