A course with character interspersed with the general public, dog walkers and some beautiful holes. Enjoyable but not one for serious golfers.

Greens and fairways in poor condition, when greens are good they are excellent however £25 in that state was not good

I would not play here again, the sheer number of people constantly walking across the fairways was ridiculous.

The rough and the fairways could do with a bit of tidying. The greens are in good condition. Some long par 3s keep you sharp and there are number of other testing holes.

Really attractive, natural course. It's not long, has only one Par 5, and quite a few short Par 4s, but it is a course you have to think your way around. No bunkers, but some savage grass bunkers in the summer months, and tree-lined, which means you have to be accurate.

The greens are the stand-out feature. Incredible they're so good, given the fact that the course is on a Common, with quite a few walkers, dog-walkers, etc.

Small but nice clubhouse, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming

Played there 2 weeks ago from the Wimbledon Common side. For this time of year, the course was in magnificent condition. Greens were lush and excellent to play, fairways nice and tight. Great scoring course if you don't go in the trees! Lunch in the club was excellent too, good food and very polite hospitality. Would definitely recommend to play again.

Some lovely holes and a course where you need a good short game to score as greens can be bowl shaped so tough to judge distances on

A tight short course. Green's are lovely at the moment. Rough is very punishing. Dog walkers and horses a hazard, as are rabbit holes.

Great greens, leave the woods in the bag and you'll score well.. markers play 20-30 yards shorter than you thing so play one or two clubs less than you initially feel if you are used to playing other courses. Great twilight practice course, solo round in sub 3 hours easy

greens were good and course was enjoyable and interesting; sharing the course with others and having to give way is a bit irritating but glad I played it; appealing enough to want to do it again sometime.

Delightful course, surrounded by natural common land, close to central London and offering extraordinary value; with greens in excellent condition. A forgiving, bunker free course, shared with dog walkers. Players must wear red.

This is one of three course on the common which is unique only in that it is open to walkers and joggers and dog walkers. Consequently you are often waiting for people to pass before bieng able to take your shot. I think i am right in saying you also must wear a red top, (to differentiate you from the rest)! The one adjacent, Royal Wimbledon, now that is a course worth playing, if you can get on.
