Hadnt played here for a while and heard they had done some work on the greens. Bedding in well and getting better. Fairways were excellent.

A good downland course which due to the chalky substrate plays as dry as bone even after heavy winter rain. Good club house, but the spike bar is too small. This is one of our favourite winter venues.

Nice course - right on the South Downs so expect to do a bit of climbing. Managed to par the huge last hole in near darkness, so it gets my vote!!

Worth calling the shop if it's been wet as trollies were banned with no posting on the website. Made for a tiring round. Otherwise a good course.

Drains well so very playable
On the South Downs and cheap after 14:00. Been 9 years since I played here. Not much has chnaged except the Slope rating is 114!! Surely with the slopes and target fairways that is too low. After the rains it spongy underfoot but not enough not to have the mowers out cutting the fairways. Greens very quick for this time of year. A bit bumpy as well.Reviewer Rating
