1st time I have played the course, and very much enjoyed it. In excellent condition, and on the basis that we got a special voucher deal and paid £10, it was excellent value. I will certainly be returning. If membership was £20 a month cheaper then I would seriously consider it.

Greens were in excellent condition but was a tough scoring day. 30 mph winds made it a real challenge but enjoyable none the less and the staff were very friendly.

Drains well so very playable
On the South Downs and cheap after 14:00. Been 9 years since I played here. Not much has chnaged except the Slope rating is 114!! Surely with the slopes and target fairways that is too low. After the rains it spongy underfoot but not enough not to have the mowers out cutting the fairways. Greens very quick for this time of year. A bit bumpy as well.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course

Good course, good clubhouse and breakfast. Greens good, not super fast but in good condition, tight course on some holes.

ALWAYS ENJOYABLE
Upon arrival West Hove is as impressive as you could find anywhere in the country. A very interesting course, something for everyone. I particularly enjoy the excellent greens, the ball always stands to attention for a well struck approach. Wonderful food and drink, the friendly bar staff provide the perfect end to a great day out!Reviewer Rating

Slopes and blind spots
