Played a few rounds here. Fairly quiet. No waiting. Good scenery. Holes are a mixture of tree lined, water hazards and a few long par 4s. Bunkers could do with a little attention. Quite challenging. Need to be a fairly straight hitter to stay out of trouble.

Wergs is a beautiful and well-maintained course. The conifer-lined fairways are a real spectacle. It is fairly straight, yet quite long, and deceptively difficult. I have played this course three times now, and each time we have had the place to ourselves (virtually). This makes it even more enjoyable.

Challenging course that is maturing nicely
Very nice course tree lined to make it more visually intimidating keeping you honest off the tee. Played it in driving rain where parts of the course were very wet but all the greens held up amazingly well, ran true and quicker than expected. Real gem of a find 20 mins away from me that I will visit a lot more. Visit in the club shop was very welcoming and all the members around were very nice and made you feel welcome. Would highly recommend and this is now firmly being added to my rotationReviewer Rating

Great golf course, a well kept tree lined course it is fairly new just over 30 year's so it is fairly forgiving, well stocked shop, good value game.

Nice course we'll maintained with some chellenging tree lined fairways. Very fast and sloping greens made putting hard.

Challenging in places
A nice course and great value for money. Some challenging holes and is a course to make you think rather than pull driver on every par 4 and 5. Greens were in great condition, played true and at a good speed. Hospitality before and after the round fantastic as well with fairly priced food and drink. First round fo 4 months... tee boxes ????... fairways ????.. greens not 100% but still playable.. welcome 100%... a genuinely friendly golf club..all associated with Wergs should feel very proud... will be back

Nice varied holes
decided to play this with 3 other guests. Had played it quite a while ago. Pleasently surprised as its in great condition for this time of year. In the Summer this will be a great course. So many varied holes, its deffo not a case of just get the driver out every Par 4 or 5. Quite a bit of water so beware if you can hit the ball a decent distance. Some great Par 3s. Overall really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend this in the summer.Reviewer Rating
