What The Club Says
The golf course opened in 1990, followed by the club house in March 1991. The facilities include an 18 hole, well drained, gently undulating, parkland golf course, with a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees and several small streams and ditches. The course is 6949 yards from the white tees with a par of 73. The course from the yellow tees is 6250 yards with a par of 72 and a scratch score of 70. There is a 20-acre practice area.

Still the best course in Wolverhampton
Played yesterday in the rain and conditions/ course still was in great shape. Need to work on how when using sat nav watch it takes into account the changes made to some of the holes but other than that great day out.Reviewer Rating

Excellent
What a wonderful afternoon at Wergs. Considering the very dry weather, the course was in excellent condition. Varied holes, each presenting its own interesting challenge. Beautifully presented course and excellent value for money. Bunkers were well kept but I wish I could have kept out of them. No problems regarding the oace of play. Friendly staff and members made it a memorable day. Good choice of refreshments in the bar. I can't wait to go back.Reviewer Rating

Worth The visit
Played on a sunny day, course was in good condition, fairways had a nice run on them, rough was tough but not too tough. It was setup for a low score if you were playing well. Greens were a bit too fast for my tastes however they were all consistent so cant complain at that.I would visit again

Good course, tough but no mud!
Played this course a number of times and it's quite tough unless you are a big hitter. Relatively flat, with a few minor hills and quite a few water features, so interesting. Really amazed at the lack of mud this time of year compared to most locally. Not played for a bit so could to re-aquaint. Friendly staff, good clubhouse. PS They've just re-arranged a few of the back 9 holes, still remains as challenging though.Reviewer Rating
