World class facilities and friendly club and course staff. Fairways a little soggy but understandable in Feb

What a place from the second you enter the course to the minute you leave you are treated like a king. the course was superb the ground staff excellent even applauded one bunker shot and subsequent put to save par and then refused to let me rake the bunker. play this at least once in your golf career

I played the East Course on a beautiful day in May, a week before the PGA stars are due to light up the West Course.
As a first time visitor you wonder if the place can match the hype. It does. From the moment you enter the grounds and head towards the clubhouse, you just know.
Just assume that the greens, tees and fairways are all in awesome condition. They are. As for the holes, there's lots of variety. Some longer, some shorter, and I would say that they are mostely all suitable for players of any handicap.

Wow whar a great golf course! I played the west course and found every hole is challenging. I loved the fact that it is carved out of woodland and that you could use most clubs in your bag to get around.
Yes it is expensive but my rating is more about the course

Superb setting amongst the hugely affluent Virginia Water residents. The course is long and demanding with little or no room for error. If you stray off-line you will suffer, keep it steady & the rewards are a plenty. Great course and venue.

Course in spotless condition apart from the bunkers which had just seen a lot of rain so sand was compacted and hard. Minor quibble. Beautiful course, fantastic clubhouse and just an overall experience that's hard to beat.

I recently had the privilege of playing this iconic golf course and it was an amazing experience. The condition of the course was perfect and it offered a great test of golf without being too challenging. The half way house was friendly and the marshalls kept the game running smoothly. I found the course to be beautiful and it was a dream come true to play it.
