Fun course, great for beginners with a maid of mostly short holes with a few tough ones thrown in. Condition was ok

One of the most welcoming and friendly clubs I have ever been to. The staff are great and the course is both challenging and beautiful. Short yes, but interesting and well kept, the facilities improving all the time under the new owners.

Great course

Very interesting course albeit very short. Was as tough as most normal length courses with several par 3's requiring some carry from the tee. Greens very true.

Didnt know what to expect but this is a charming par 3/4 course in a most attractive setting. Friendly clubhouse and sausage baps to die for.

This golf club was an absolute pleasure to visit. Everything from the bag drop to the changing rooms to the reception was spot on. It was great to see and hear first hand about the history and traditions of the club. The courses were both very testing and in excellent condition, and the food and beverage was well above par. It's no wonder why this golf club is number 2 in England and renowned worldwide for its quality and visitor experience.

Lovely setting

The setting adjacent to the illustrious neighbours - a beautiful heathland vibe. The course is quite short but challenging nonetheless. The experience was only let down by the tyre tracks across most of the greens. There are some morons around.

Food and clubhouse were also great with very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious sandwiches were a highlight.

With only 4 par 4's and the rest par 3's this course demands accuracy so don't be under any illusions that it will be easy as you have to put the ball in the right places and the swirling wind make club selection difficult on some holes.

A nice 18

Played Sunningdale Heath 18 this morning and heath is the word.
The course is well looked after, but if you leave the fairway you are in unkempt heathland and in trouble. You might lick your lips at the Par 3's but some should really be 4's I would say. 3's as the crow flies, but not necessarily as the ball flies! I twisted my ankle and collapsed on hole 11 so stay out the rough! It's only when I play a course like this I realise how much I miss water on a course.

Good Starter Course

The condition of this course is absolutely fantastic (greens, bunkers, fairways etc)
Unfortunately it's been squeezed in an area to small for the amount of holes so too many short 4s and massively long par 3s to make it a traditional course test for regular golfers
Great for a family fun round or new golfer starting off

Tough par 3s.

3705 yards but alot of tough par 3s: 11 measures 241 yards and then 12 is 236 uphill, another two also measure over 200 yards. Have to hit good long to medium on many of the other par 3s. Four short par fours offering birdie chances. The third offers a birdie chance playing downhill.

Short but charming course !

Situated not far from the main Sunningdale courses, this is a hidden gem ! 14 par 3's (but several 200+ yards) with the remaining being short but interesting par 4 holes.

The chap in the shop freely admitted that the course was 'not quite in the condition we would hope for' when I checked in. The recent lack of rain meant several early holes had some bare patches and a few greens were a little 'bobbly' after recent hollow-tining. that notwithstanding, I thoroughly enjoyed my round in tranquil surroundings on a well laid out course.

Off-course facilities are limited - a practise net and a putting green, along with a small clubhouse. .

Previously Sunningdale Ladies and now Sunningdale Heath, this is a short course of fourteen par 3's and four par 4's. With lots of small greens, tricky bunkers, lots of trees, and no holes shorter than 138 yards, there aren't a huge number of simple pars. There aren't that many difficult bogies either though, so along with the lovely setting it's a course that you can't fail to enjoy.

The clubhouse isn't the biggest, and the practise facilities are a net and a putting green, but if you can get a good deal here then this is totally worth a visit.

The welcome by the lady in the club on arrival was exceptional, explaining local and quirks. The course is only 3700 from the whites but where it may be short of length it makes up for in character. Heather, gorse, rhododendrons in full bloom, what a delight. the greens are receptive and true, the bunkers were a delight, great sand not rock hard cement. The longer hitters may not like the course as the longest Par 4 is only 340 yds long but there is great variety in all holes and par 3 from 90 to 250 in length. All people I met on my day was great and helpful. Lovely course.
