The Wentworth Club website talks about following in the footsteps of champions. Well, if you are lucky enough play this amazing place, bring your wellies. I played the west course on the 13th August 2015, I would consider that to be prime golfing season. The greens were awful, recently hollow tined and sanded, the fairways didn't drain particularly well, the run off areas were muddy. On the plus side, the tee boxes were perfect. The food amazing and our Caddies both entertaining and helpful. The experience was not to be missed. However, the West course was nothing like we see on TV.

Played the West Course yesterday - Very disappointed with the greens, very slow and visible signs of disease on them - no better than a hotel resort course.
Also very noisy and rude greenstaff , not stopping when about to play your shots and machinery constantly being revved.
On a positive the fairways excellent and rough challenging,
All course marshalls were excellent, polite and very helpful.
Overall disappointing and feel Wentworth lives off its reputation and name rather than the quality of its courses.

Really disapointed with the days golf on the west course, condtions not much better then my home club which can be played for 100 less what a joke sorry

It is an amazing place and the course offered a great challenge but the course condition could have been a bit better even given the time of year. Bunkers are hard and with very little sand in places and stones visible or lurking just below the surface.
Would love to go back in the summer, if someone else was paying! Overall club and service brilliant.

First time I played Wentworth, all as expected. Unfortunately, we played it just after the BMW and it had rained a plenty two weeks before. As a result the rough had not been cut so made it even more difficult.
