I like playing at Wensum valley. Very friendly club with 2 great courses. The Wensum course is longer with plenty of water where as the Valley Course, is a little shorter and more parkland in style. The greens are better on the Wensum course. My only gripe is the 17th on the Valley Course. Its a Micky Mouse hole out of character with the rest of the course.
However Wensum Valley offers 2 courses at excellent value for money. £15 a round in the afternoon at the moment on either course.
There is an excellent bar and restaurant as well.
Hotel on site too if you want to make a weekend of it

Played the championship course and was excellent. Very dry but was tough, really have to think your way around the course as anything off line is lost ball!!! Facilities were excellent as well, highly recommend.

Beutifull and testing course,go after 1pm dor only £15. There is 2 courses, The Valley and the Wensom, try the wensom.

A course that is forgiving from tee to green. Well kept but difficult greens on this established course are the make or break factor to your round here.On many Tees you are greeted with a view of a panoramic vista across the valley. Those with cool heads and steely temperament can do well here, and who knows, prove themselves a worthy champ in any competetion. Highly recommended for weekend societies which are always welcomed.

A course that tests your accuracy and distance as you negotiate the many water hazards that are formed from the River Wensum thats runs through it. Well kept greens on this established course, and on many Tees you are greeted with a view of a panoramic vista across the valley. Visited here on a society weekend, playing both courses. Very enjoyable weekend. The two courses are very different from one another but both offer challenges, particularly the 6 water holes on the Wensum course.

Nice gem
First time in ages I've played this course, like every where else the fairways were very dry but the greens were nice ( seemed a bit woolly but that's too protect them from the dry weather still quick.Reviewer Rating

The course is in good condition and the golfing was enjoyable. It was incredibly busy however and made for quite a slow round overall

Coarse.in great condition. Greens a little hard. Always a pleasure to play at wensum and one of the cheapest rounds for non members in the area
