What the club says: The 6720 yard par 72 course is full of character and presents a variety of challenges to a golfer of all abilities, with its undulating landscape, trees and pond. The main feature is a large glacial swale which meanders its way down to the river Yare creating many interesting tee and green locations.

Played on a charity day here, course in great shape with greens & fairway excellent, tee boxes could’ve done with a cut but this is only a very minor criticism. Clubhouse, staff & food brilliant, definitely will come back

I had a great time playing at this course! The course was in excellent condition despite the hot and dry summer. The standard of the course was great, both on and off the greens. The welcome, the greens, the clubhouse, and the general upkeep were all amazing. Highly recommend!

Nine hole course worth a visit

Nice nine hole course with some testing holes.
Accuracy required on most holes to achieve par
Worth a visit if you just want a quick nine hole

Visited September 2021. First time playing, bunkers in very good condition and most tees(not all though) were tidy too. A team of greenskeepers were working their way round the course. Course offers something of everything, short and long par 4s, short and long par 3s and decent par 5s. Course is flat in parts and hilly in others. However 2-3 holes had temporary pins(poorly placed) on the fairway/rough before the greens, which didn’t have any signs indicating the greens were under repair(they looked fine to me) which was the one downside.

A fantastic 9-hole course. It is challenging, with some very difficult holes for a beginner, but a very enjoyable experience and nice open fairways.

Tough course for us high handicappers

A really nice course, in lovely condition. A bit tough for us old high handicappers but thoroughly enjoyable. Very welcoming and friendly staff, efficient distancing etc, felt very safe. Great views. Some very long holes, but thankfully the rough wasn't too bad and your could usually find a stray ball. Highly recommend

I hadn't played Bawburgh for a couple of years so it was good to return and see improvements to a course that I already enjoyed. The clubhouse has been recently refurbished and looks great. Our group of 18 enjoyed a buffet after the round which was superb. The course itself has been improved by some thoughtful rerouting at the start. It has always been well maintained in the past so I was not surprised to find it in excellent condition this time. One of the top parkland courses in Norfolk in my opinion.

A surprisingly long and testing course that requires both distance to reach the greens in regulation and accuracy to stay away from trees and hazards.
