Hadn't played here in a couple of years. Course was in good condition. Played the Ryedown and Blackwater 9's, the latter of which I hadn't prevously seen. Both were decent and a good challenge and the lack of length is deceptive here. Nice meal in clubhouse afterwards. Will come back at some point.

Never played here before. Played the 2 main 9's (Ryedown/Embley). Interesting course. Various ditches and some other hazards knocking about so useful to have played it before which was an advantage I didn't have so struggled on a few holes for that reason. Also helps if you don't go long left OOB on the first... Sand in bunkers was a bit random but otherwise the course was in good condition. Greens were a bit furry but played well enough. I'll go back at some point and play it again.

Very enjoyable course
A lovely course, very well maintained, the greens are in excellent condition, but very fast. Would definitely play here again.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 118 Handicap: 24.4)

The course is playing lovely at the moment and this was after the morning thunder storms. You've got to be straight though as the rough is punishing at the moment, should die back a bit as the summer moves on.

Played on a very windy day and found it challenging. You have to be on the fairway every hole as the rough is very unforgiving. Club pro was very friendly as were the people we met on the course. Very pleasant round.

Three loops of nine
Good condition with a firm bounce due to the lack of rainGreens were in very good condition and fairways very good also
Ideal for seniors especially the Ryecroft and Embley nines.
