Beautiful evening for golf
A twilight round for £21, good fun. Tees were in need of attention and predictably the clubhouse was closed when we walked off at 8.30pm(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 19.2)

good course
rained for most of our round but the greens played true and still on the quick side. first time we have played here would we go again yes but I think we would have a buggy as it is up and down(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 21.6)

First impression is fantastic.clubhouse & layout very impressive.problemwas course condition was terrible.Weather had been good for 2 weeks before playing end of March.The greens apparently had been worked on a week before and had been heaverly sanded.There was obviously lack of watering applied to greens following work done.The grass on fairway & just off fairway was way to long and in desperate need of cutting.For some unknown reason we had to tee off on temporary winter tees for the whole game.The course ground conditions were perfectly dry enough for normal tees to be used.Such a shame .Fantastic venue spoilt by course conditions.At the end of the day playing golf on a well kept course is more important than nice buildings.

nice course
well worth a visit we paid £15 for a 12:00 start, not too busy, no hold ups played of matts on some holes but did not affect the enjoyment(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.3)

Ok for the money
The layout is excellent and the general condition of the course was good, but the greens were dreadful, worst of the year for me sadly, I have played there before and so hopefully its only a temporary blip, as in the past they were goodReviewer Rating

Greens in bad shape, very patchy and bumpy
First impressions is great setup, you arrive at the clubhouse and find that coffee is £3 OK it's a hotel and a chain but over the top for us golfers sadly. maybe the corporate guys are happy paying that much.Anyway, to the golf the clubhouse is nice and practice facilities #Range excellent with good chipping area along side with bunker. staff in the pro shop very helpful and welcoming :-) 4 PlayMore.Golf points for a game Friday morning at 8.56am bargain £12. rate for the day was £18.75.
Course layout is excellent and keeps you fit, up and down hills all day :-) sadly the green look like they need some help after the summers toll. very patchy and pretty bumpy and that's all 18 holes. some great holes along the way.
Last negative the shoe cleaner, trolley blower has been out of order for ages (Member told us)
good cheap visit for a Friday friendly. 100% play there again, hoping the greens look a bit more healthy.

Good golf sadly the food and service let it down in the club house
Have menu on the bar when I tried to order food kept be told not doing that it stop at 12.30 !! It was only a sausage sandwich ! And bacon o and can we have a coffe ! The machines not working do you want a cheap takeaway one, sort it out could be really good with friendly and good service staff

Had a special deal of 18 holes and a bacon sandwich for £15 which made the course good value for money. Whoever designed the course had a predisposition for bunkers and there were dozens of them. The sand however was wet and compacted causing difficulty for a 28 handicapper. The tees were rubbish driving range type mats but there were no rubber tubes on which to place balls, the resultant holes were filled with broken tees and the mat itself would not allow tee penetration. Disappointing for a smart hotel course. Also found the course very hilly and tiring but I suppose at 76 I should not overly complain. Would not choose to play there again
