The club had just played host to the Ladies English championships and was immaculate. Despite the constant drizzle/ rain the greens were fast and like a quality carpet. Each fairway is tree-lined so accuracy is very important as I quickly found out - lots of chipping sideways. However, there was no thick rough under the trees so the ball cold quickly be found - lots of other clubs should note this if they wish to improve the speed of play. A very enjoyable round.

Very nice course but was pretty wet in places and played long as a result of soft fairways

I have to admit I am a member and therefore wish to respond to the negative comments made this year. Show me a course built on clay that hasn't suffered from the rain this winter. Yes our greens were soggy in Jan Feb and early Mar, the guys who left comments were lucky we were open that day. The course has dried out well now and the greens are running true and relatively fast. Pay us a visit and make your own mind up. My ratings are based on the current course conditions, Cheers

Played with a member friend recently. Really disappointed overall. Astro tee mats on nearly every tee, greens waterlogged with some temporary greens which were poor. Will not be returning. Course is not what it used to be.

Shocking Course, not worth the Green fee paid. Course has slipped in condition in the last 5 years. Every other club is improving and this seems to be lagging behind.

Very disapointed. Considering all the invested drainage work the club boast about, it was saturated.. Very messy, untidy and most the Tee's were on a square artificial matt. Some very pretty golf holes but a let down if im honest.
