Atmospheric Friendly
I play this course on occasion as a guest of some members, on this occasion although the course is a parkland course you had to play it like a links due to the dry conditions and the greens was very hard to hold.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 13.1)

Good track and very convenient for central london
Played on the bank holiday with a current member. It's a nice club and very convenient for anyone living in central London. Very reasonably priced membership as well I believe. The course itself is solid, if a little on the short side. Greens were very well kept and there are some challenging holes with tough tee shots, especially if you aren't 100% where all of the hazards are. A couple of the holes cross fairways etc, but that and the short length are obviously down to being in central london! Fairways were a little bare in parts but that's down to the scorching summer last year and lack of rain/recovery time.Reviewer Rating

Tricky course. Stuck up Members
Pricey course for what it is. No the longest around but tricky, definitely a thinking course. If you are out of place off the tee you have no chance of a par. Practice areas are all good.After golf we tried to take in the clubhouse, to which we were made to fell very uncomfortable. You can see why these types of golf clubs are going out of business with members like these. Told not to stand on a certain side of the bar, continuously asked if we were members, told to move outside because we had not got changed. Will not be going back.

good conditions considering its well into November. a couple of holes have winter tees but still in good condition. the course drains well so fairways were in good condition. greens very slow.

Best greens locally
I’m a member of local club. Wanstead’s greens were phenomenal and they can get them very quick. The clubhouse was friendly the pro David always helpful and good value too!If you haven’t played here it’s a tough but enjoyable place

Always worth a round
Played many times. Is always in good condition. Worth playing when you can get a deal for around £20. Nice and friendly staff and a good club house and bar for the 19th.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 15.1)

Nice greens
No separate T's for ladies but you Par 5 instead of Par4 and your stroke changes. Decent long course for men you can use your driver - not too much trouble and the ball runs if you hit the fairway as not much grass - be friendly and give placing for fairways you need it

Yellow tee boxes were all temps . No scorecards in pro shop . Got stuck behind a pro-am comp which was fine , but what wasn`t fine was the members behind us shouting across fairways for the pace of play to pick up . We as a four ball were waiting on every tee box , and although we are not pro\'s we kept up with the group in front . We found the members unfriendly . The car park is stupid small , had to park on the street . Holes 2-5 were in a different part of the area , almost field like . Greens were good thou . Shame about the rest of it . Won\'t go back , wouldn\'t even entertain it .
