Great course even now. Little bit mud around as to be expected, but happy to allow Push Trollies on. We carried as nice and flattish. Come summer this will be a fantastic course. 18 full greens without any temps is a bonus at this time of year.

Beautiful course, well maintained challenging greens. Friendly club. If there was a blemish- it's the bunkers which could be improved with more San and less mud.

Excellent course in superb condition apart from some hard bunkers with a thin layer of dust rather than sand in. Flat course, tight drives on many holes with trees lining most fairways. If you miss fairways you will have to chip out before continuing towards the green. Bunkers, as well as not being in the best condition are numerous and massive so they are best avoided completely. Try to make your score on the shorter front 9 as the holes get longer on the way in. Very friendly club. As a visitor I was warmly welcomed, played with 2 members and talked to many others and everyone was very nice. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic inland course. One of my mates had just joined this and invited us up to play. Great inland course with lots of trees, but if you can keep the ball straight then you will love this course. Some great holes with some long Par 4s, woods are needed for a few second shots into the par 4s. try it and you wont be disappointed.

Lovely course to play with immaculate fast greens. Accuracy needed on several holes and lots of big bunkers to catch you out. A flat course, but very enjoyable to take on.

Walsall golf club is a gem of a course located in the middle of suburbia. The tree lined parkland course is bag carrier friendly but buggies are available at a reasonable price. This is a risk or reward course and if you can move the ball off the tee left to right or right to left at will you can score well. The greens are small by modern day standards but beautifully maintained. The course has really strong par 3s and it is very easy to fritter shots away. There are numerous well positioned bunkers but they could do with some more sand in. The course is well maintained and the off course staff are always available and helpful. This course has a host of top amateur golfers as members and it is clear...if you can play good golf you can play here and enjoy. Practice facilities are good but make sure you bring your own balls...nice change to hitting crappie range balls. All in all a great place for a day out....give it a go, you will not be disappointed. Top tip.....do not miss greens pin high as very difficult to up and down....if in trouble play short of the green...trust this is top advice! out

Absolute gem of a course. Being a single handicap member of Beau Desert (in the top 70 courses in england) I have fairly high expectations and I am pleased to say Walsall GC did not disappoint. The holes are all individual, beautifully tree lined and a great test to any level of golfer. The course was in immaculate condition and most importantly the greens were true and running lovely. From the moment I passed through the gates the members were polite and the golf pro shop staff more than helpful. I had the pleasure of a conversation with the 2014 Captain who again was welcoming and a sure sign of what a friendly, welcoming and great place to play golf. I thoroughly recommend WGC
