Not the longest course in the area, but the condition of the greens and fairways far superior to the other nearby courses. Driving is certainly not the key here, but self control is, with some of the greens reachable to the longer hitter, but get it wrong and it will cost you dearly. Best to be more conservative and play for position for a controlled approach in. Friendly staff in the shop and well supported shop. Try the Tilsworth Burger, it was gorgeous and my friends 18 Hole breakfast went down well too. We love it, friendly, fun and great value!

I played this course in a match and have to say it is one of the worst courses I have had the displeasure to set foot upon. The layout is poor and the course of the condition matched this. Awful place and I wouldn't recommend it to any serious golfer.

I have played most courses in the area many times. Tilsworth is the best in my opinion. It is different every time depending on the weather, dry days its dificult to stay on the greens, windy days its difficult to reach them. Challenging green, small with danger right left and long. Not a long course but accuracy and course management is the key. A family run business and you are soon made part of it. Help is on hand if you want to improve your game, the practise facilities and coaching staff are excellent. The pro shop is one of the best, lots of choice and helpful advice from the staff. The club house is friendly regularly welcoming societies and guests, who all seem to enjoy their visit. Not a busy course in nthe week, you have to drive to get there so not many youngsters. Busy at weekends with a very popular junior section as well as ladies, seniors and main club. Very welcoming seniors section (over 50) on Monday mornings. Ladies section growing all the time. As I say its a family club so all you Mums and Dads who play, take your children, you could do worse than introduce them to golf. Tilswoth is a great place to learn and a challenge to the low handicap golfer.

Not the longest, but good fun and challenging. Good for the beginner, but demanding for the better player. It really tests your short game skills. Nice course, good facilities and very welcoming. I recommend the burgers.

Up and down course, a lot of holes are blind apart from a post to aim at and your score card. I wouldn't like to play it if it was busy? Some challenging holes would play it agian maybe when it would be dryer and in the week only.
Good course value for money but not for me?

Expensive for a course that is not that great. There are plenty are others around that are much better to play like Stockwood, Luton. And value for money can be achieved and a number of courses before this one.
Confusing course layout with very long walks between greens and tees on many holes and no clear signage (in my opinion) having not played there before.
Clubhouse isn't great either.

Nice little course although a few fairways under repair due to extensive clubhouse building. A fair few obstacles but too many hills for my liking!

Nice course in good condition, can get a bit confusing with the layout as were to go from green to tee especially from 7th green to 8th tee, and the hill on the 5th is a bitch!!
