Very friendly.
The course is a little dated and tired, the greens leave a bit to be desired the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and bar and meal prices are fair.Reviewer Rating

Good value and friendly
I\'m relatively new to golf, playing some 14 months so very much a beginner in my opinion. I decided to try out the 18 as I had a day off and have wanted to since first visiting the driving range. Teeing off between 11am and 2pm is a mere £14 (£8 thereafter) during the winter season which is great value for money.\\Onto the course, the first thing I noticed is that the holes are rather confined, with lack of signage which can lead to some confusion in identifying the right fairway! But with the course map I was able to get around OK, it will for sure be much easier on my next visit.\\The course was generally well kept, my hopes were not too high given the price but the fairways in partiulcar looked great and well as the majority of the greens. Many of the bunkers lacked sand but to be honest I didn\'t expect them to be great given the time of year and recent weather.\\The course has some interesting holes, particularly the 5th (i think) which features a fairway over a steep crest, followed by a par 3 back down. \\Overall worth a visit for a quick 18 (took me about 3 hours) and a friendly cost clubhouse waiting at the other end.Reviewer Rating

Small Greens. Lack of signs on course though and no 150 markers

Pace of play was quite slow and the layout doesn't help achieve a quick round I.e having to wait for players on random tees/greens before playing shots. In honesty it feels like they've tried to squeeze a golf course into a small space, but could be fine if they re-jigged the layout.
Positives: some genuinely interesting holes (but too many 'so-so') and decent facilities, plus the club house was busy with people eating which gave it a good communal atmosphere. Would be good for a learner, but too expensive (not good value for
Money) and will feel cramped for the more experienced golfer.

Rained very heavy over the previous 24 hours, the course held up well. Always seems to be a quick round achievable.
