Very nice two day stay at course and hotel. Worth a visit for society golf. with two day deals.

Not the most challenging of courses, but cheap deals on tee off times and a good walk with great views of the abbey and surrounding countryside.

Twilight offer for £20 and a buggy (min 2 players), fairly quiet the afternoon we played. Nice course with a pretty varied layout and feels like there's definite sections to the course. Will definitely play again

Overall a great place to play, with many staff showing great service. A little slow in the bars at times, and a lack of flexibility from a certain member of staff.

Very nice course with great views and lovely mature trees, ideal for societies with fairly open fairways but still a challenge, some long par 4s and the superb par 3 10th. Greens excellent.

Course in great condition. Bunkers disappointing due to recent bad weather but greens playing very nicely and pretty rapid.

I've played this course regularly and can honestly say the improvements of late are excellent. Despite incredibly wet conditions the course has been open and the greens running smooth and fast. Recent investment is evident and appreciated. Perhaps the weakest aspect of the course is now the standard of bunkers, which flood easily and are like wet cement throughout winter. Some excellent strong par 4's like 4 and 13 and a great variety in par 3's. All round one of the strongest tracks in the area, that with further investment - tree planting, bunkers, course definition - would be an absolute beauty.

Course is really beginning to take shape, lots of investment going on, rise in fees reflect this, but playing really well..
