Fantastic course with great character and layout the greens are immaculate and testing with plenty of speed the recent investment has been a great add too the course

Course condition excellent, greens immaculate. A few things have changed since we last played there and took a few minutes to find the pro shop. We then tried to chat to the pro about the changes but he wasn't very forthcoming, not the usual greeting you would expect. The 19th hole bar area had also changed and it was more like a coffee shop but costs for basic sandwiches were on the high side. Golf was good though.

Course in great nick
The greens today were in great condition, very warm welcome in the clubhouse and thankfully the weather stayed relatively fair.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 87 Handicap: 16.7)

Weekend Away!!
Stayed in the hotel and Country Club in the centre of the course. 2 Nights, 3 Rounds. Weather all weekend Sunny and Breezy. Course parkland with 'lightening' greens and lots of mature Oaks blocking the fairway. I was impressed by the quality of the greens at first, until the wind strengthened and balls would not hold the greens, some were so contoured the ball would roll straight off!!. The fairway grass was course and first cut thick, grabbing the club and turning it. Very frustrating, but somehow enjoyable. I improved as the weekend proceeded. needed a week to play to handicap!!!!!!.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: )

3 day golf break
I arrange a golf break every year for around 16 people. This year we went to Tewkesbury Park and it was fantastic! The course was is great condition following the extreme heat we have had, and it was a decent challenge for all abilities.What made the trip stand out from other years was the service. Very friendly staff in the pro shop and at reception. Not just friendly but engaging as well which I feel is important, you could have a nice conversation with all staff. A special mention to all the catering staff! The food is excellent, as a relatively young(ish) group we were all apprehensive about the menu but it was amazing food. The service was amazing and again that personal touch when having a chat was there. The staff seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing and helped us plan our final night out in Cheltenham.
I would recommend this venue to anybody.

Ladies Annual Golf Break
First time at. Tewkesbury Park but definitely not the last. Lovely parkland course in excellent condition even after the awful winter and spring weather. Hotel first rate. Modern attractive,well appointed rooms, Public areas equally attractive. Food delicious and staff friendly and obliging. Everything one could want for a first class golfing break.Reviewer Rating

Played this course on numerous occasions with mates. Has improved over the last couple of years, apart from the most of the bunkers, the bunkers seen from entrance drive are good, the others are unkept, weeded, stoney, and in poor condition. Greens were very good, (not at present, hollow tyned) nice views, good layout, tee boxes need attention. In general I would reccomend although let down by small but important detail, like overflowing litter bins, no water in any of the ball washers we tried, no direction signs for first timers etc and over priced at £40 a go, although we have managed discounts.Bar area good, didn't eat there

Consistent, high quality, fast greens. Bunkers have had work lately and have been finished to a high standard. There was some very long rough in places which wasnt ideal for a relative beginner like myself. Price isnt what i would normally call cheap but would have been worth it on the day i played.

I've played this course regularly and can honestly say the improvements of late are excellent. Despite incredibly wet conditions the course has been open and the greens running smooth and fast. Recent investment is evident and appreciated. Perhaps the weakest aspect of the course is now the standard of bunkers, which flood easily and are like wet cement throughout winter. Some excellent strong par 4's like 4 and 13 and a great variety in par 3's. All round one of the strongest tracks in the area, that with further investment - tree planting, bunkers, course definition - would be an absolute beauty.

When I first joined in Aug 10 the course needed attention and this was rectified in the form of a new greens keeper who has put a great deal of effort and pride into bring this course up to great standard. A medium hilly course that benifits from great natural drainage making it playable even after a lot of rain. The green are good but need time to recover after a busy winter with the regular treaments against moss leaving them a little rough. I am looking forward to summer as this course will be great. tricky dogleg lefts are a challange to the ameture slicer with stratigicly placed bunkers and cut in fareways. I recomend this course to anyone.

What a great complex. Lovely hotel and pool.
The golf course was in great shape with some challenging holes. The pro shop is small but didn't need to use it.
All the staff went were very helpful.

Great Condition
Had not played the course for some years, and we were very impressed by the green keeping standard, tees, fairways, and greens all imacculate. It rained heavily before we played, but the course drained very well. The layout is welcoming, with some strategically place oaks guarding approaches to greens. Some lovely views, with the Abbey seen from 2 or 3 holes. Staff were welcoming. Would highly recommend this course for any level of player.Reviewer Rating

Just played for the first time during a short stay, Course in decent condition.Quite forgiving for errant tee shots, birdie opportunities on the par 5's.Nice overall - good service at hotel, good facilities and nice food,very welcoming. Definitely recommended.

Great condition but unexciting
First time playing the course and the fairways and greens are in great condition, and are a credit to the club and the greenkeeping team. I enjoyed the course but the open parkland layout with only a few trees, wide fairways and distant rough means it is too forgiving with little jeopardy in most shots and minimal penalty for bad shots.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course worth a visit
Had a 2 night 3 round break, very nice course a good challenge for everyone. Good hotel food its a shame we couldnt get any snacks from the bar in the main hotel lets itself down on this point, but in general would revommend and definately will returnReviewer Rating

Post lockdown outing
The course looked great, and played well, having previously played it on three occasions. The fairways were unsurprisingly quite soft, which made lofted approach shots very tricky.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.8)
