little gem of a course. fairways were excellent, greens were sublime and they facillitys are just short of perfect!!! the only grumble is the tee boxes in places needed a bit more TLC (and i know its winter and they were working on it). would gladly pay the full amout next summer. abillity wise it would suit all in ability and age. its easy to walk and theres no massive hikes. very very highly recomended.

Played the course in mid August, after being charged £60 to play I was expecting a course in fantastic condition but what I got was a course with no grass on some of the fairways and surrounds, the tees were also in poor condition. To be fair the greens were in good condition but everything else was poor especially when you consider the cost I've played better courses for less than £20.

Great golf course, some truely fabulous holes, a true test of golf that makes you use every club in your bag. The par 4 3rd hole is the signature hole but for me the par 4 11th and par 3 12th were real gems that could fit onto any course on the open rota. I'm not sure anout the comments of not many holes by the sea but i played from the white blocks (which is a bonus) and there must have been at least 6 holes by the sea some with spectacular views of tenby, and caldey. Well worth the time and effort to go play.

An unusual mix of two courses rolled into one. Some very good holes like the first, some truly excellent holes like the difficult third and 3 average parkland holes from fifteen to seventeen.
Not a classic out and back lay out by anymeans, with a few fairways crossing over at various points. It was actually difficult to know where to hit at times. That is not a criticism, but it definately makes the routing more difficult for first time players.
Not many sea views which is a shame, because holes like the fourth run so close to the beach.
The location and weather conditions paired with penal rough make most of the course very challenging indeed.
Holes fifteen to seventeen are just such a conundrum, its hard to see how they were part of the original design, they are that different to the rest of the course. Maybe i need to look into the history a little.
This review is starting to sound a little daming which is not my intention as overall its a very good course with some outstanding holes and excellent greens which i enjoyed very much. The club house has fantastic views and several members went out of their way to ask about our visit whilst having a drink after the round.
I just cant quite come to terms with the 3 non links holes sorry.

Wonderful test of golf. Horribly difficult - do not be fooled by the yardage, as the wind (which WILL be there!) makes such a difference. Golf as it should be played - blind shots, scary greens and wonderfully welcoming members make for an absolute treat. Don't go if you want drop and stop, target golf but do if you love links golf and are looking for a superb test of every club in your bag. I loved it.

Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, this links course really is one of Wales' hidden gems.

The undulating fairways and fast, true rolling greens make this classic links course a pleasure to play.

In calm conditions, it is a challenging golf course, but when the wind picks up it is brutal. Make sure you keep your ball on the fairway, as the rough is as punishing as any in Wales.

The signature hole is the par 4 3rd. The tee shot to a narrow fairway is as daunting as any on the golf course. The approach however is even more challenging. Any balls to the wrong part of the green will be punished - a good approach shot however will leave you with a good chance of making birdie.

This really is a must play for golfers who enjoy a golf course that rewards good golf shots and strategically placed tee shots, whilst punishing wayward drives and bad putting.

First time that I've played a links course. This course would be a challenge in the most benign conditions but in a strong wind it is very difficult.

For a seaside club it lacks a lot of sea views. The course was in great condition despite lots of rain for the days prior to my round.

Take plenty of balls because no matter how good you are you'll find the rough but not necessarily your ball.

Well worth the trip to the far south west of Wales.

Very enjoyable links course. Some extremely difficult holes, blind shots and blind fairways! But an enjoyable challenge. Not for the faint hearted.

Very challenging links course. I played it in horizontal drizzle so did not see the course at its best. Slightly dissapointed with the lack of sea views on many of the holes. The adjacent MOD rafle range doesn't help much either.
