What the club says: Still regularly used for Major Amateur Championships, Tenby's tight fairways, fast-running greens and thick rough combine to provide an endlessly varied challenge. The course runs alongside Tenby South Beach and, whilst this makes for spectacular views, it also means the course is exposed to the elements - a strong gusting wind makes this a great test for golfers of all abilities.

Beautiful and BrutalCourse is a stunning layout that offers tough test of golf. There are opportunities to score well as well as punishing errant shots. Some holes can be brutal, especially when the wind got up. Greens are some of the best I have played on. Can't wait to return
A real treatHave played several times and will keep coming back as the course is superb.
Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is terrific
Well worth visitingHave visited Tenby a couple of times in the last few months as the stay and play deals are fantastic value.
Personally I think the course is great and a real taste. The friendly atmosphere and glorious surroundings make it well worth the trip.
I will definitely be going back.
A course worth playing
MrPlayed, with a friend, on a calm, windless day in early November. To say the course is challenging is an understatement. Lots of blind shots and carries over hills and mounds. Narrow, undulating fairways makes every shot a challenge. Perhaps because of the time of year the greens were a tad bobbly which was a shame. Deep pot bunkers not easy to escape from.
Tenby Senior open 1330 tee.Old established links course in the dunes, half a mile from the town centre. Nice sunny day not too hot, little breeze. Very Welcome and on the tee with 2 fellas from Morlais Castle who knew their way around. Extremely undulating course with large borrows and narrow fairways, so local knowledge is a must as most shots are 'blind'. Nice true Greens, fast and not too undulating. Walking off each hole you feel 'how did I get from there to there to there !!'. Not the sort of course where you can 'chase' the ball along and views of greens and wind limit 'throwing it up in the air'. a frustrating experience.
