A mixed review
Mixed feelings after visiting Tenby this week. The course was generally unkept in many areas, particularly the tees and fairways. Its obviously attracted a lot of visitors recently and heavy use has led to fairways full of divot marks. The greens however are excellent. Fast and true.
There are a lot of blind shots and narrow fairways which can be a challenge, however the course is generally very short. There are a 2-3 par 4's under 300 yards and a couple of very short par 5's around or under the 400 yard mark. I'm a 14 handicapper and was able to reach these using 2 iron shots...
General feedback from the group was that the course needed some tlc but the greens were excellent. Unfortunately, I won't be back to play it any time soon.

Tenby Senior open 1330 tee.
Old established links course in the dunes, half a mile from the town centre. Nice sunny day not too hot, little breeze. Very Welcome and on the tee with 2 fellas from Morlais Castle who knew their way around. Extremely undulating course with large borrows and narrow fairways, so local knowledge is a must as most shots are 'blind'. Nice true Greens, fast and not too undulating. Walking off each hole you feel 'how did I get from there to there to there !!'. Not the sort of course where you can 'chase' the ball along and views of greens and wind limit 'throwing it up in the air'. a frustrating experience.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 12)

Great Course in Fantastic Condition
Played Tenby yesterday (Boxing Da) and it was in fantastic condition - the tees, greens and fairways despite the recent wet weather. The course layout is great and a variety of holes and magnificent views out over the sea and beach.Reviewer Rating

Tough Course but enjoyable.
Tough conditions and tough course, the course is in very good condition, stayed 2 nights and had 3 rounds booked, didn't play the 3rd round as the weather was awful.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 96 Handicap: 17.7)
