Brilliant course - must try it
Surbiton is a great golf course. Lots of variety - changes in elevation. It's just over 6000 yards so sounds like it should be easy but it's not! Very well presented - great greens. One of my favourites.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: )

Had a great round at Surbiton GC. Fairly short course but very well maintained. Greens were quite tricky but ran very true.
First time playing here and the set up of the course makes you think your way round. You cant bomb a driver on many holes which is a refreshing change from a lot of courses.
Will definitely be going back soon!

One of my favourite courses in Surrey. Immaculate tees and greens. Very well looked after course with great scenery. Lots of interesting holes and a good test for golfers of all abilities. The bunkers were surprisingly poor in comparison to everything else on the course but I believe they have undergone extensive development on these since I played so will look forward to going back.
I paid £55 to play mid-week which is definitely on the pricey side. Much cheaper to play with a member so I'll have to make some friends there!

Very well kept course with fast greens and lots of bunkers. Beware the Burmese cat on the 14th that creeps on and runs off with your ball!

A most attractive course
A beautifully maintained course; tees, fairways and greens all in tip-top condition. A good variety of holes. Large clubhouse with friendly staff. The fastest greens this summer! Slight irritation with cross-over holes but thats the only negative thing I can thin of.Reviewer Rating

Really Enjoyable
Really impressed with the course and the condition of the greens. Its a little odd when fairways cross and people do not take caution when they should allow the group in front to play through first. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely play Surbiton GC again.Reviewer Rating

Lovely parkland course, in great condition
Played in a club match, course was very firm under foot and lovely and green. Greens were apparently slower than they can be (according to the members we played with) but they were still pretty quick by most standards and were very true. Greens are the challenge here; very sloping. It's fairly tight off the tee but being tree-lined most of the time you find it unless you hit it over the boundary of the course. Visitor at Surbiton GC
Had this club on my list for a while as one on the edge of London. Very nice setting with lovely tree lined fairways. Course is 5700 yards off the yellows, so not the longest but you have to hit fairways to put together a good score and some nice changes in incline throughout the course increase the challenge. Was a bit muddy despite the good weather so would be a worry in the very wet months if the course becomes unplayable.Reviewer Rating

Woldingham GC
Course is currently in excellent condition both fairways and greens. Beware the short roughthough as it is quite hard to exit. Car parking is plentiful and practice facilities are good too.
Nice clubhouse although on the day the bar staff could have been more attentive.

Nice track, it has a few blind shots and the greens protect the course they are quick and undulatingIt’s pretty short and not too tight There are decent scores to be had if you can putt well

Great course
It was wet and cold the course was in great condition the greens had been treated fairways had a lot of water but were in very good nick.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 19.5)

Played here for the second time. Last time was a year ago and I wrote a very favourable review. Having played a lot more courses since then I feel a (very) slight downgrade coming on!
Greens are excellent. Best in the area. Large, undulating, very well maintained. Not lightning quick but certainly challenging for the mid to high handicapper.
It rained the day before we played, but otherwise a dry time of year, so I was surprised to find a few boggy areas. The club has recently spent £500k on drainage but I wouldn't fancy playing here after a prolonged wet spell.
There are some interesting holes with elevation changes but no real 'signature' holes you would walk away talking about afterwards. No water hazards to speak of, just a couple of ditches.
Bunkers are still surprisingly bad which is a shame because there are a lot of them. Well placed and designed, great looking, but not a lot of sand in them. Sides and upslopes were rock hard.
The locals were very friendly. Even mix of male/female young and old. I get the impression a lot revolves around the social calendar of the 800 strong membership. The pro told me their weekend medals attract over 200 players.
Good value at £25 with a county card. Would begrudge paying full price of £55.
