Excellent course
Played here a few times and always had a good experience. Three ball for £54 after 3pm was good value. Great finishing hole.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.9)

Very impressed
I'd heard great things about Studley and wasn't disappointed. The course was in good nick considering all the snow and rain we've had and the greens were exceptional. A fair test but not too difficult and some lovely holes - especially the par 3 downhill 16th. The staff were really friendly and the clubhouse is superb. If it wasn't so far away from where I live I'd definitely join! Only moan is people not replacing their divots - get a grip.Reviewer Rating

Well worth the vist
Played this course afew times and think it's in my top 3 courses in Oxfordshire and that includes playing Frilford recently. Really nice layout using the local woodland and lakes to maximum effect. Would recommend to everyone although did get stuck behind a group of members that although we were in buggies had no intention of letting us throughReviewer Rating

Great course, one of my favourites
I hadn't played Sonning in nearly 4 yrs and I forgot how great a course it is. Greens are in great condition and very true, fairways lovely and green and the tee boxes are perfect. There are some challenging par 4s and the 2 par 5s are reachable in 2 but be aware of the perfectly placed bunkers at about 250/260yds. I found them. I managed to get this round for ?29 and it was worth the 40min drive to get there. Won't be leaving it so long to play there again. For the price I paid you will not play a better course in the area. We had a 2pm tee off and had a 4ball in front of us. They kindly let us play through and when we caught a 2 ball on the 2nd they waved us up to the green and let us play through also. After that we didn't catch anyone else. Back in the clubhouse after 3.5hrs. Handicap 17, 36pts playing partner handicap 10, 38pts.Reviewer Rating
