Somers has testing par 5?s, while Blythe and Hampton is picturesque with amazing bird life to go with plenty of water

Poor condition
Played here a few weeks ago. Was hoping course would be better. Greens really bad and not good for a good score.Reviewer Rating

Good can be very busy
Has three sets of 9?s beat are Hampton Somers but although Blythe is shorter has more difficulty. Has improved since they began to protect course during winter although allow a lot of dingbats to use it. Pace of play varies and members are nobsReviewer Rating

Nice Choice of Holes to Play
Played here and did 9 holes in the morning on the Somers course, and 18 in the afternoon on the Hampton/Blythe courses. There is a great variety of holes, with some interesting shots and choices to make. Water comes into play on a few holes, and some of the fairways are quite hilly or sloped to one side or the other, making for quite a good challenge (not "championship" challenge) for all handicappers. We had 2 high-handicap ladies in our 4 ball, and off the forward tees they enjoyed the day too.
The course was in great condition, and the greens were true and moderately fast.
There were some holes with quite a walk to the next tee, but these were clearly signposted.
The clubhouse & pro-shop were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel most welcome. There is a spike bar where you can also eat, we sat outside as the weather was good, and the home made fish finger sandwiches we had were very good.
There is also a driving range where you can hit to targets out in a lake, with floating balls!! (The balls feel no different to normal range balls).
All in all, a very enjoyable day out, and we would definitely come back here, when we next visit this area.
