The greens are excellent and the rest of the course is in great nick and great value for money, a little short but only par 69 so still a good course.

for a public council owned course you cant complain, affordable golf at a good standard. The course layout flows nicely.

Very forgiving course, wide fairways with little OOB added to some challenging tight fairways like the 10th. Greens very well maintained.
Mostly flat/slight sloping greens. Rough kept under control. Excellent value, lovelly to play public course. Definately recommend. Could do with a pitching practice area, but the little (also excellently maintained) par-3 pitch/putt acts as a good alternative to practice.

Can't really comment on value as we play this course in Club Matches every year (so no charge), but I understand it's very reasonable. We always play off the Medal tees and it's a decent test of your handicap.

In great nick when we played in early June. Greens a little slow, but running true.

Only real drawback is the noise from the planes coming and going at Luton Airport which is constant and can be irritating.

My local course and although not very long, it throws up a different challenge every time you play, especially when the wind gets up (the two par 5's then become very long). The staff at the pro shop are great and they make a great breakfast up in the bar. If I had to make one negative point it would be the lack of sand in the bunkers, but they are working on this. All in all a very good municipal course, give it a go!

Best value 'muni' that i've played by far. Well kept. Bunkers need re-sanding tho. Rough should be shorter which would reduce round time. A 5 hour round isn't unusual!

Very good.

The course is in very good condition presently. It is
a fair course for mid-high handicaps. I play off 24 and
as long as I stay fairly straight it is pretty straightforward.
