SUPERB GREENS
Long and lovely parkland course in the Essex countryside. Long par 4's, bona fide par 5's and one or two particularly challenging par 3's. Watch out in particular for Stock Brook's very own 'Amen Corner' (11,12,13 on the championship course). Bunkers and tee-boxes are a work in progress, but the greens are consistently excellent.Reviewer Rating

Nice challenge
Great weather added to a good course with great facilities. Some tough greens and tight fairways but a good example of a better than average course.Reviewer Rating

Manor Manor
Played the 3rd 9 holes at Stock Brook. Course in great nick, tee boxes and fairways good and greens in excellent condition. New tee on 8th makes it challenging from white tees. Sat am green fees may put punters off, ?40 for 18 holes.Reviewer Rating

Excellent test of golf
Although I am a member of this club, I can honestly say what wonderful condition the course is in and compares so much better than many of the courses I have played during the year. It is great to see so many green keepers out making our course welcome for members and visitors.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
Nicely laid out, fairways and greens in good condition, with some interesting holes. Friendly staff and well set up to deal with Covid. Will definitely be back(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 103 Handicap: +26.7)

1st visit
Played in the Broomfield FC society day at the end of September, it was our first event and was very successful. We used all 27 holes in the competition and I found the day to be very enjoyable with some challenging holes, the weather was a bit hit and miss with rain at times and this made the greens difficult to read as they all seemed to be playing different at different times of the day. Lovely clubhouse, warm welcome, good food and bar, would certainly recommend and we will be back for another event in the springReviewer Rating

Stock and Brook
On a very warm and humid day, we were invited to play Stock Brook Manor by a friend. Would have been £35 but club discount reduced to a reasonable £25 mid week round. We were designated the Brook and Stock courses. course seemed in a good but parched condition, although the greens were a lot slower than they looked and it took a while to adjust. Although as a unit we did not play very well, the round was very enjoyable and challenging.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 19.6)
