Great return visit
My society returned again this year and found the course in excellent condition given the lack of rain. The greens were top rate, best I've see in a long time. Ok the rest of the course was suffering the lack of rain but on the bright side the ball kept running and running. Staff were very friendly and the food was its usual excellent standard. Very good
Thought the course was very well presented, the tees and greens were well kept and fairways were obviously very parched but playable, staff were friendly and professional. Ball washers had water in them which seems to be very rare these days but I think an important thingReviewer Rating

Fast greens
Great greens, fairways had lots of marks and lines across impacting the roll of your shots. Layout of the course was nice. Had some challenging holes and would recommend to play. The tee boxes were flat and in reasonable condition.Reviewer Rating

Nice course to visit
Challenging course, currently more difficult due to all the drainage works that have been done, resulting in very rough fairways. Low running balls hit ruts and lips of trenches really affecting play. Fairways also affected by drought conditions, so pick and place I force. Greens in good condition. Many bunkers GUR. Shame about all the drainage channels at the moment, but expect to be
The course was partially under maintenance when we played today. There was one temporary green in operation, which we hadn't actually realised was the same green but with the pin just marginally off the green, as there were green keepers tending to it, so we played another hole adjacent, thinking it was the temporary green, when it wasn't. Unfortunately there are drainage channels every 10-20 yards and the greens had just been freshly sanded, which meant they were slow, and at times unpredictable. However, it's clear there is a lot of money going into the course with the irrigation project and they have just resurfaced all of the paths with fresh tarmace. I reckon this would be a much better course in a few weeks or towards the end of September. It was good to get out there and play though.Reviewer Rating

My Experience was very welcoming, I thought the staff was friendly too.The course is in lovely condition, also the terrace restaurant & bar & food is excellence.
I would defiantly recommend a visit if you haven't been before and play good golf & food drinks.

Crondon Park
Sorry to say that the course hasn't improved a lot since my last visit. Putting greens slow and not very flat. Fairways sparse and very hard. Course needs fairways to have sprinklers.Reviewer Rating
