Nice course to visit
Challenging course, currently more difficult due to all the drainage works that have been done, resulting in very rough fairways. Low running balls hit ruts and lips of trenches really affecting play. Fairways also affected by drought conditions, so pick and place I force. Greens in good condition. Many bunkers GUR. Shame about all the drainage channels at the moment, but expect to be
The course was partially under maintenance when we played today. There was one temporary green in operation, which we hadn't actually realised was the same green but with the pin just marginally off the green, as there were green keepers tending to it, so we played another hole adjacent, thinking it was the temporary green, when it wasn't. Unfortunately there are drainage channels every 10-20 yards and the greens had just been freshly sanded, which meant they were slow, and at times unpredictable. However, it's clear there is a lot of money going into the course with the irrigation project and they have just resurfaced all of the paths with fresh tarmace. I reckon this would be a much better course in a few weeks or towards the end of September. It was good to get out there and play though.Reviewer Rating

My Experience was very welcoming, I thought the staff was friendly too.The course is in lovely condition, also the terrace restaurant & bar & food is excellence.
I would defiantly recommend a visit if you haven't been before and play good golf & food drinks.

Crondon Park
Sorry to say that the course hasn't improved a lot since my last visit. Putting greens slow and not very flat. Fairways sparse and very hard. Course needs fairways to have sprinklers.Reviewer Rating

Overpriced non championship course
This club is asking a lot of money for a course in very poor condition. It is not worth £20 let alone the amount being charged. While this course has a good layout, fairways are covered in drainage channels, bunkers with poor sand or no sand and bumpy greens (appreciate this is the time of year for sanding etc). Tee boxes are also in a poor state. The service in the club house was terrible having to take food out to the course after ordering it well in time. The order was wrong and gave a gluten free individual gluten products meaning it had to be binned. While I appreciate the work will help in the long term, it seems that hat investment is being obtained through over charging and a lack of honesty about the condition of the course treating patrons as financial commodity for abuse through lack of transparency.
