Nice course to visit
Challenging course, currently more difficult due to all the drainage works that have been done, resulting in very rough fairways. Low running balls hit ruts and lips of trenches really affecting play. Fairways also affected by drought conditions, so pick and place I force. Greens in good condition. Many bunkers GUR. Shame about all the drainage channels at the moment, but expect to be
The course was partially under maintenance when we played today. There was one temporary green in operation, which we hadn't actually realised was the same green but with the pin just marginally off the green, as there were green keepers tending to it, so we played another hole adjacent, thinking it was the temporary green, when it wasn't. Unfortunately there are drainage channels every 10-20 yards and the greens had just been freshly sanded, which meant they were slow, and at times unpredictable. However, it's clear there is a lot of money going into the course with the irrigation project and they have just resurfaced all of the paths with fresh tarmace. I reckon this would be a much better course in a few weeks or towards the end of September. It was good to get out there and play though.Reviewer Rating

My Experience was very welcoming, I thought the staff was friendly too.The course is in lovely condition, also the terrace restaurant & bar & food is excellence.
I would defiantly recommend a visit if you haven't been before and play good golf & food drinks.

Crondon Park
Sorry to say that the course hasn't improved a lot since my last visit. Putting greens slow and not very flat. Fairways sparse and very hard. Course needs fairways to have sprinklers.Reviewer Rating

Overpriced non championship course
This club is asking a lot of money for a course in very poor condition. It is not worth £20 let alone the amount being charged. While this course has a good layout, fairways are covered in drainage channels, bunkers with poor sand or no sand and bumpy greens (appreciate this is the time of year for sanding etc). Tee boxes are also in a poor state. The service in the club house was terrible having to take food out to the course after ordering it well in time. The order was wrong and gave a gluten free individual gluten products meaning it had to be binned. While I appreciate the work will help in the long term, it seems that hat investment is being obtained through over charging and a lack of honesty about the condition of the course treating patrons as financial commodity for abuse through lack of transparency. Course was very muddy but still in good condition, they have done a lot of work on drainage throughout the course, so hopefully will make it better in the long term. Greens & tee mats were excellent, course layout challenging with some lovely par 3?s over ponds, could do with some more signage for playing the 1st time, but overall will definitely come back

Interesting course to play

Not a Championship Course
Have been wanting to play here for a while but extremely disappointed with the condition of the course. Largely uninteresting with most holes being quite long but pretty straight with open fairways, lacks the ability to make you think about your shots. Condition of the course was really bad with sunken trenches across all fairways, paths are being reconstructed but at the moment just rubbish hardcore with all manner of things, saw much glass, pieces of metal and plastic and even saw an old pair of scissors. Noisy construction equipment on many of the holes and the greens were extremely bumpy and in need of a cut so very slow. Very disappointed and will not be coming back!!Reviewer Rating

Nice corse. Some good holes on the front nine , but 5th and 9th greens not great most bunkers on the front nine had cement like sand in them , green speeds inconsistent,£50 a round should have better bunkers

Overpriced
Decent layout with some interesting holes. Very slow pace of play, our tee time was 30 minutes late to tee off and the round was close to 5 hours for a fourball. If it’s rained at all the week prior to playing don’t bother, as the course will be soaking wet. Could be a decent track if it wasn’t constantly underwater. Greens have obviously been worked on recently and weren’t up to much. Very pricey for the condition it was in.Reviewer Rating

Well kept course
A very well kept course, greens a little lumpy still after winter treatments and are very tough to read with lots of borrows and slopes on every green. There is an outside marquee for food and drink which is heated and the food is very good, would still prefer to be be indoors and not in a tent myself.Reviewer Rating

Crondon Park
Great course that is not easy, greens are very difficult, the guy in the shop could not be more helpful, the staff in the eating area were very good. The course was in great condition and well kept, there is a good practice area and range, the club has made a superb effort with the COVID problem, they have a big marquee with great seating a bar and a pizza oven with flowers all around the area. Good Couse for a competent player
The course was in good condition except for the practice areas as there was no putting green available or practice nets.Many of the holes are long especially the 18th and there is plenty of water and sand too making it a tough course for beginners.
The greens are tricky too with several being crowned and on some days the pin positions can be almost evil.

tough course, greens were quick and got lots of slopes making a big challenge. New patio area is great, practice putting green is so sloped makes it hard to practice.
