What The Club Says
Chelmsford Golf Club is one of the oldest traditional, private members' clubs in the county and celebrated its centenary in 1993. From modest beginnings, this gem of a parkland course is now recognised as one of the best in the County of Essex and is a ‘must’ for the discerning golfer. The 5996 yard par 68 course is always in excellent condition and a warm welcome always awaits the visitor or member in the clubhouse.

Nice tricky course
Well laid out, with several dog legs, bunkers in th aright places. Several holes cross over and some tees close to greens, but definitely worth a visit. Green. tees and fairways in good condition, decent sand in bunkers.Reviewer Rating

Nice Short Course
!st visit - enjoyed the course. Greens in excellent condition. Preferred lies on fairway, as mosy=t courses are due to effects of summer. But worth a visit. Not easy - have to think about club selectionReviewer Rating

GOLF SOCIETY DAY
Chelmsford GC was excellent, the course layout is lovely and the tees, fairways and greens were excellent. The staff were very very helpful and courteous, with the starter being a great help the society organisor .Reviewer Rating

Very challenging course with undulating greens some tough holes.I played their in an Essex Seniors Event and the course was set up very well.
