Some hard walking involved as there a few steep climbs!
Only dissapointing aspect was the bar! Had a great golf day day and sat down for dinner and drinks but they closed the bar at 8pm on a Friday!!!

Challenging & Superb Value
Was good to get back to Stanmore. Some may find it short but fully meets my needs. Excellent lay out, tough if not over fast greens, some narrowish fairways & plenty of hazards to negotiate. A couple of holes with great views across London. Lovely stuffReviewer Rating

Excellent course
A good challenging course with plenty of ups and downs and well maintained greens and fairways. Some lovely views of London as it has a Trig point. The bunkers are well maintained with good sand, the greens are fast and true.Reviewer Rating

Hilly Billy
The problem with this course is that it involves climbing the highest point in Middlesex 7 times and therefore descending it 7 times which is agony on my arthritic knee. I prefer to play solo but 3&4 balls can be very slow. The course is well kept and some of the rough is playable with some trees.Reviewer Rating

Hilly and tight in places
First time on this course today. It was a hilly course with some tricky lies and narrow tees, a good challenge. I was a little wayward off the tee so didn't have many easy second shots but enjoyed the course. Will be back to give it another go now I know where I am heading.Bar looked good but I was playing alone and needed to get back home. Looked like a good social club.
