First time playing Stanmore I couldn't praise it enough despite the work on the greens usual summer works .Proshop staff very helpful and friendly as well as the bar staff will be coming back on a society day next year if not before it's a little gem,

This is an excellent and quite difficult course, the tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in excellent condition. Add to all that the friendly staff and you have a course that is great value for money and good to play.

Great Society day here. Golf course is in very nice nick and the views over London make a bad shot easier to forget. Dinner was the best golf club food I\\\\\\\'ve eaten in ages. Booked for next year already.

Playing surfaces awsome for January and a lovely walk. Another Dr Mac gem I can get to by tube.Going back in the spring to see how slick those greens get.

This is a Dr Alister Mackenzie golf course. A little bit of Augusta National in north London. Don't be fooled by its sub 6k yard length.. This is a thinking man's golf course.

Brillant well loved course , the club house is like stepping back in time , a real treat . The course is in amazing nick and the staff are friendly and helpful , I would highly recommend this course

A gem of a course that winds thru the trees taking you up hill and down dale, with a nice mix of holes that offer up a birdie chance (1, 3, 7, 14,) mixed with more challenging card wreckers (2, 5, 13, 15) for the more cavalier. The course has it's own amen corner around 11, 12 and 13, navigate this and the not to be underestimated and deceivingly difficult par 3s and you will have a nice score to sign for.

Old mature open 5730 yard parkland course with undulating fairways, some tight holes with O/B’s & doglegs. With fast true greens. The only negative side is some of the holes have a long walks from green to tee, Fairways, bunkers & greens were in fantastic condition.
Practise chipping/putting green & driving nets. Excellent club house. Sort of course I definitely be a member.

Played here last week for free as it's on the smart-golfer network. What a great little course.... Friendly staff, challenging in places and Greens were in good condition despite the heavy rain. A great course if you are NOT a big hitter. This course is quite varied with dog legs, raised and lowered greens and tee boxes. Some great looking holes and views at times and we will definitely be back.....

Top Condition
Course played superbly. Rapid greens, hard fairways. Very enjoyable. Post round meal very nice. The only blemish came when a member leaving the 1st green felt the need for an altercation claiming he’d not heard a cry of fore despite the ball landing nowhere near him nor the green. Suspect the hot weather had gotten to him.Reviewer Rating
