The greenkeepers have gone all out! Stanmore Golf Club is in immaculate condition, with super fast greens so be wary. Lunch was great too. 10 out 10 for a really enjoyable round.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 15.1)

Stanmore is looking good.
The course is in great order at the moment. Greens were mocking me today but a fun round, and for a Friday morning it was super quiet. This is a local favourite for me, always a friendly welcome and seldom in anything other than fantastic shape.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 21.8)

Great course at great value.
Played Stanmore on the Public day(Friday) today for £20.First time i’ve been there for about 12 yrs. More fool me. It really is a little gem in N London. Quite short but with some nasty long par 4s thrown in, the course was in great condition for late October. It is quite hilly in parts if that’s not your thing. I thought the greens were some of the kinder greens i’ve Played of late with quite a few one putts in the round. No devilish breaks that I came across. The welcome in the pro shop and the clubhouse was warm and friendly. I’ll be back soon to hopefully eliminate the blobs and push the par tally up from 6 holes to nine holes.

in great condition
We played on a fine autumn day, overcast but warm. Fairways clear of leaves and greens immaculate. fellow groups move with pace and our twosome went round in 3 and 3/4 hours, The seventh is now a delight after much course work. John(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 114 Handicap: 36)
